Whether you are visiting for aesthetic treatment, allergy-related care, or a general medical consultation, your time at Alluna Medical is designed to feel calm, private, and well considered.

Located in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, Alluna Medical is a doctor-led clinic where consultations and treatments are carried out in a single, private consultation-and-treatment room, allowing for one-patient-at-a-time attention and a quieter clinical experience. This page outlines what to expect before, during, and after your appointment, and links to our Frequently Asked Questions for further practical details.

Before Your Visit

Booking and planning

Appointments can be made through our online booking pageor by speaking to a member of our team via Whatsapp or WeChat (ID: allunamedical), and advance booking is recommended, particularly if you are arranging a first consultation, planning around work or travel, or visiting Hong Kong for a short stay. If you need to reschedule, we appreciate as much notice as possible so that we can manage the schedule fairly for all patients.

Before your first aesthetic visit, you may also find it helpful to read selected articles in Alluna Circle, including our pre-treatment guidance and educational pages on topics such as downtime, treatment planning, and authentic medical devices. For common practical questions about appointments, timing, payment, and aftercare, you can also visit our Frequently Asked Questions page.

Arrival and location

Alluna Medical is located at Suite 2015A, 20/F, Hang Lung Centre, 2–20 Paterson Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, a short walk from Causeway Bay MTR Exit E. If this is your first visit, arriving around 5 to 10 minutes early is usually helpful so that registration and pre-consultation details can be completed without rushing.

Weather arrangements

Patient and staff safety comes first. In the event of a Black Rainstorm Warning or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, as announced by the Hong Kong Government, the clinic may close and appointments may need to be rearranged. If this happens, our team will contact you by phone or WhatsApp to discuss the next suitable appointment time once it is safe to reopen.

During Your Visit

Doctor-led consultation

At Alluna Medical, consultations are carried out directly by our doctor rather than by sales consultants or intermediaries. Your visit begins with discussion of your concerns, medical history, previous treatments, and priorities, followed by assessment and a conversation about what may or may not be suitable for you at this point in time.Where treatment is being considered, the consultation is intended to support careful and informed decision-making. Suitability, possible benefits and limits, expected downtime, aftercare, and situations in which treatment may need to be staged or deferred are discussed before any procedure is performed.

Privacy, comfort, and documentation

Because the clinic operates with a single consultation-and-treatment room, patients are seen in a more contained and private environment, which many find reassuring, especially for first visits or more personal concerns. If you decide to proceed with treatment, clinical photography may be taken as part of the medical record and to document your treatment course over time. You will also be asked to review and sign an informed consent form where appropriate, so that the nature of the procedure, its possible risks, and important aftercare considerations are clearly understood. Depending on the treatment, comfort measures such as topical numbing cream or cooling may be used where appropriate.

After the procedure before you leave

Following treatment, appropriate skincare such as moisturiser or sunscreen may be applied if relevant to the procedure performed. Before you leave, we will go through your immediate aftercare instructions, explain what degree of redness, swelling, tenderness, or downtime may be expected, and clarify when to contact us if anything feels outside the expected range. For patients who have further practical questions after their visit, our Frequently Asked Questions page provides additional information on common recovery concerns, booking, payments, and what to do if you are worried about symptoms after treatment.

Payment and administration

We accept a range of payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, PayMe, FPS, bank transfer, and cash. If further appointments, staged care, or review visits are recommended, these can be discussed before you leave so that planning is clear and realistic.

After Your Visit

Home care and follow-up

You will be given post-treatment instructions tailored to the procedure performed and your individual circumstances, with guidance on skin care, activity, and what to expect during the early recovery period. Some treatments involve minimal downtime, while others may lead to temporary redness, tenderness, swelling, bruising, or visible marks that take longer to settle, and these points are discussed during consultation and again afterwards where relevant.

Important safety information

Although many treatments proceed without significant problems, all medical procedures carry some degree of risk, and it is important to watch for symptoms that may require urgent review. Please contact us immediately or seek emergency medical care if you experience severe or increasing pain, sudden skin discoloration such as dusky or white patches, blistering, or visual disturbance after treatment.

If you are unsure whether a symptom is expected, it is better to contact the clinic for guidance than to wait and hope it will settle on its own.

Questions and next steps

If you have questions before or after your appointment, our team can be contacted by WhatsApp for practical guidance and appointment support, while medical assessment and treatment decisions are made during consultation.
