AESTHETIC SERVICES

At Alluna Medical, consultations, aesthetic treatments, and procedures are provided by doctors in a clinical setting. Our aim is to offer individually planned treatments based on your concerns, medical history, and examination.

Alluna Medical is an authorised treatment centre in Hong Kong for a range of recognised brands and devices, including Juvéderm (Allergan), Restylane (Galderma), Belotero (Merz), Profhilo (IBSA), Sculptra (Galderma), Radiesse (Merz), Teosyal (Teoxane), Botox (Allergan), Dysport (Galderma), Xeomin (Merz), Ultherapy®, XERF, Stellar M22™ (Lumenis), and Hydrafacial. The most appropriate products or technologies are selected after medical assessment.

INJECTABLES

With age, changes in bone, fat, and soft tissue can contribute to differences in facial contour and volume, including areas such as the temples, nasolabial folds, under‑eye region, and cheeks. Some patients may also wish to consider enhancing or refining features such as the nose, forehead, chin, or jawline.

In suitable cases, hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, biostimulatory injectables, or a combination of approaches may be used to support or restore volume and contour. Treatment plans are individualised, and expected benefits, limitations, and risks are discussed during consultation.

BOTULINUM TOXIN

Botulinum toxin injections are commonly used to help soften the appearance of dynamic lines and wrinkles caused by repeated muscle movement. Depending on assessment and dosing, treatment may also be considered for other aesthetic indications such as adjusting eyebrow position, reducing the appearance of a bulky jawline related to muscle activity, or improving overall skin smoothness in selected areas.

At Alluna Medical, we use botulinum toxin products such as BOTOX®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®. The choice of product, dose, and injection sites is determined by the doctor based on your anatomy, goals, and safety considerations.

ENERGY-BASED DEVICES

Lumenis® Stellar M22™ IPL
Stellar M22™ is an intense pulsed light (IPL) platform used in dermatology to address selected pigment and vascular‑related concerns, and for hair reduction, in appropriately assessed patients. It is a well‑established technology with multiple regulatory clearances for specific indications. Treatment parameters are adjusted according to skin type and indication, with particular care for darker or Asian skin.

Ultherapy®
Ultherapy® is a non‑invasive treatment that uses micro‑focused ultrasound with imaging guidance to deliver energy at targeted depths beneath the skin. It is US FDA‑cleared for lifting tissue on the brow, under the chin, and neck, and for improving lines and wrinkles on the décolleté in suitable patients. It is generally considered for those with mild to moderate skin laxity who prefer a non‑surgical option.

XERF®
XERF® is a dual‑frequency monopolar radiofrequency treatment used to support non‑surgical skin tightening and improvement in the appearance of skin laxity in selected patients. By delivering radiofrequency energy into the skin, it is intended to support collagen remodeling over time. Suitability, expected degree of change, and possible alternatives are discussed during consultation.

CO₂ laser
Carbon dioxide (CO₂) lasers can ablate (remove) thin layers of skin in a controlled manner and are used for selected indications such as certain scars, benign growths (including some warts), and other textural or surface concerns, where appropriate. Because CO₂ laser disrupts the skin surface, it carries risks such as scarring and pigment change, which are discussed before treatment.

THREADLIFTING

Thread lifting uses absorbable sutures placed beneath the skin to provide temporary mechanical support to tissues and to stimulate collagen production over time. In suitable patients, it may help to improve the appearance of mild to moderate skin laxity in areas such as the face or neck without surgery.

As with all procedures that involve inserting devices beneath the skin, thread lifting has potential risks and limitations. Your doctor will explain whether this approach is appropriate for you, and how it fits within a broader treatment plan.
